Welcome to the 2026 Ruger World Speed Shooting Championship Presented by Vortex Optics (WSSC). It's my honor to serve as the match director this year. This is a very special year for several reasons.

    The 45th anniversary of the first ever World Speed Shooting Championship.
  • MILESTONE 02
    Our 9th year at the CMP Talladega Marksmanship Park.
  • MILESTONE 03
    Brand-new steel on all 8 competition bays this year.

Thank you for choosing to shoot with us this year. Our goal is to make this the best match possible. During the week I'll be on the competition bays working to make that happen. If there's anything good, bad, or indifferent regarding Steel Challenge please spend a few minutes with me and let me know what's on your mind.
